The unusual holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Uncovered

According to the formal release, "A strange encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where whispers of forbidden rituals and fearsome changes reverberate through the darkness." The storyline introduces a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a secret group.

The mission focuses on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome foe" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Changes

The trailer highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a dramatic moment showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the adventure will acquire an exclusive katana together with multiple items hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
